Sunseeker 30 Meter Super Yacht

What was Involved

For one of our early pioneering Control4 projects, iMedia was tasked with supplying and installing an advanced audio and video distribution system across nine cabins on a stunning 30-meter Sunseeker super yacht. This project came with a unique set of challenges, including limited space for mounting TVs and sound systems, keeping equipment cool in the Mediterranean climate, and creatively adapting the layout—unfortunately necessitating the repurposing of the wine fridge to accommodate the rack.

Exclusive Entertainment Experience: Each cabin is equipped with a meticulously designed audio and video system that transforms these spaces into immersive environments. This ensures guests can enjoy everything from movie marathons to sports events, elevating their on-board experience.

Simplified Control with One Remote: The installation features a user-friendly control system that allows for effortless management of the entertainment setup. A single remote facilitates all functions—switching on the system, selecting media, and adjusting settings—streamlining the experience for guests onboard.

Integrated Lighting Solutions: Designed to complement the entertainment system, the integrated lighting allows for ambiance control tailored to each cabin’s theme. Simply pressing “Play” dims the lights optimally for viewing, while additional ambient lighting creates a cozy atmosphere. When “Pause” is selected, gentle illumination guides guests for refreshments.

Attention to Detail and Functionality: Throughout the installation, we prioritised precision and reliability, carefully considering space, power, heat, and the marine environment's unique challenges. The system has been robust enough to withstand the Mediterranean’s elements, providing seamless operation.

This project was the first of its kind for a Control4 system on a super yacht. In partnership with Sunseeker, we ensured the installation was a resounding success, resulting in a luxury experience that has performed flawlessly over the past two seasons with minimal disruption. Our clients have been delighted with how this home automation system enhances their yachting experience.
